Welding
All those machines specially designed to perform welded parts belong to this series of systems. Thanks to the know-how acquired by OMAS with the various welding applications over the years, a series of systems specifically designed for the production of round and shaped welded rings have been created, which from the first model presented at WIRE Dusseldorf in 1988 to today, has almost 300 systems installed. The sectors particularly interested in this type of machines are: automotive, construction, household appliances, agriculture and filtering. Depending on the technical requirements, it is possible to use different welding technologies including: low frequency butt-welding, medium frequency butt-welding (inverter), TIG, PLASMA and MICRO PLASMA. The state of the art is now represented by the application of LASER technology, currently usable exclusively for welding strip materials with a maximum section of 100 mm²; this technology is currently applicable also on all Multilsides and Bull Bending® machines.
